June General Meeting

The March meeting of the CVACTA will be held at

7:00 pm on Thursday, June 12th

at Wendy Schmitt's home:
14150 Bear Slash Tr., Ashland, VA 23005

Speaker approximately 7:30 pm

Our Speaker will be our club member Dawn Cooper

and her topic will be Purity of Gates.

For nearly twenty-five years Dawn Cooper has been actively involved in the emotional healing of horses, dogs, and humans. In 1984 she started a riding program for the mentally handicapped that provided the healing companionship of animals to relieve emotional stress. In the decades following, Dawn expanded her study of the holistic healing arts.

Her system utilizes myotherapy, the use of essential oils, aromatherapy, theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine, LED pads, Reiki, energy dynamics, and intuitive evaluation for physiotherapy and training programs. The Total Balance Method incorporates in-depth understanding of travel patterns with the complex understandings of emotional components that affect the animal’s performance and well-being.

Stressing companionship, understanding and a thorough understanding of riding dynamics, The
Total Balance Method has changed the daily lives of every horse and dog owner that has participated in the variety of programs and clinics. Currently, Dawn travels throughout the country teaching workshops on the principles of The Total Balance Method.

The public is welcome to attend our General Meeting and Speaker Presentation
